In this tutorial we will learn to import file-based observations in Peranso. This way of working complements the one-step light curve plotting, and the import of observations through the Windows Clipboard. 


Several file types are supported, such as:


    • AAVSO AID
    • AAVSO EFF
    • AIP4Win v2
    • ALCDEF
    • ASAS
    • ASAS-SN
    • AAVSO and CBA Photometry reports generated by Phoranso or LesvePhotometry
    • DASCH


The following sections illustrate the import of a few of the above file types. Once you know how to import a file, the step towards importing another file type is easy to take. Tutorial 12 contains an example file of all supported file types.
