The Light Curve properties dialog box is divided into two sections: Edit Target star properties and Target star information.

Edit Target star properties

This section allows you to modify specific properties of the Target star's light curve, in particular:

    • Star name: an optional text field for setting the name of the Target star, which will appear as the title in the Light Curve window (LCWin)

    • Marker color: a drop down menu with predefined colors. The selected color is used to draw the Target star's observations in the LCWin

    • Marker size: a value defining the size of the maker used to draw the Target star's observations in the LCWin

    • Bright.-error color: drop down menu with predefined colors. The selected color is used to draw the brightness error bars of the Target star's observations

If modifications are made to any of the above fields, pressing the OK button will apply the changes to the LCWin and close the dialog box. Pressing the Apply button has the same effect without closing the dialog box. Pressing the Cancel button closes the dialog box without further action.

Target star information

This section consolidates pertinent information about the Target star's light curve, including the X axis (Time) values (JD) of the first and last observation in the light curve, as well as corresponding Y axis values for the brightness.
