Starting photometry from Calibrated images
Some observers may use a third-party software to calibrate their images, before using Phoranso for the rest of the photometric reduction process. The photometric reduction process then reduces to: The Photometry dialog box supports this shortened pipeline through the Skip image calibration option which you can select in the Options section of the dialog box. The user subsequently will be asked to specify the folder which contains the Calibrated images. They will be the starting point for the shortened photometric reduction. Schematically, the folder structure created by Phoranso as part of this reduced photometric pipeline process will look as shown in the picture below. |
