Registration of Peranso will turn your trial version into a regular version, removing the trial mode limitations. The registration process is very simple and is explained in detail below. Upon completing your registration, you receive a Registration Key (or license), which you have to enter (once) in Peranso. This key entitles you to use Peranso 3 for an unlimited duration. 


Your Registration Key has a validity of one (1) year, called the Registration Key Validity period. During this period, you are entitled to receive free software updates and technical support. After expiration of the Registration Key Validity period, you can continue to use Peranso, but you will not be able to install updates and you are no longer entitled to technical support.


You can renew your Registration Key at any point in time, also after expiration. This is explained in detail below, but you may also consult the Peranso website for more information. After renewal, your Registration Key will again have a Validity period of one year.


We encourage you to renew your Registration Key on an annual basis, to ensure you always get the latest updates of Peranso and have access to technical support.



Peranso registration process


The Peranso registration process is straightforward and consists of following steps, to be executed once. Upon completing the process, you will receive your Registration Key by email from CBABelgium.com:


  1. You first have to retrieve the Hardware Fingerprint of your PC. It is a unique "signature" of your PC, generated by Peranso. It consists of two strings of 5 characters separated by a hyphen sign. 

    To retrieve your Hardware Fingerprint, you have to launch Peranso. It will start in trial mode, and will display the following message box:


  1. Click Show Fingerprint to display the Hardware Fingerprint of your PC. You will see a message box similar to:



    Click Copy Fingerprint to copy your Hardware Fingerprint to the Windows clipboard or write it down. 

  2. Send an email with your Hardware Fingerprint to peranso@cbabelgium.com. We will use it to generate your Registration Key. Make sure to exactly copy the Hardware Fingerprint. Any mistake will result in an incorrect Registration Key. 


  1. Open your browser and visit the Registration section of the Peranso website. Or click the Buy Now button in the above message box. Select the number of Peranso licenses that you want to purchase and proceed with payment.

  2. Shortly after we have received your payment, and mostly within 1 - 2 working days, you will receive an email from CBABelgium.com with your Registration Key. Please note that a Registration Key will only be provided if your payment has been received.

  3. Launch Peranso again and click Enter Key in the above message box. It now shows this window:



Enter the Name and Key exactly as they are written down in the email you received from CBABelgium.com. The Name field mostly will be your own name or the name of your company / institute. The Key field consists of 7 strings, separated by an hyphen. Each string has 5 characters. This is an example of a Key: wM70c-GaZC5-AbBMs-RvkNz-vGe9n-a=EZb-4Vz=3. Make sure to exactly copy both fields. Any mistake will result in an invalid registration. 

Click Register Key when you’re done. You will see a final confirmation message box. Click OK.





How to renew your Registration Key?


As explained above, your Registration Key has a Validity period of one year. If the Validity period expires within the next 20 days, or meanwhile has expired, you will receive a warning message when you start Peranso.



This tells you when your Peranso license will expire, and gives you the option to renew your Registration Key. To renew, click the Buy Now button. This opens your browser on the Registration section of the Peranso website.


On the website, select the Annual Registration Key renewal option and proceed with the payment. Then follow the same steps as described above in the Peranso Registration Process to retrieve your Hardware Fingerprint.  Upon receipt of your email with your Hardware Fingerprint, CBABelgium.com will send you a new Registration Key by email with a Validity period of one year.




What happens if you install a new version of Peranso after your Registration Key Validity period has expired?


When you launch Peranso, it will automatically check if a newer version is available. This check is not performed if your Registration Key Validity period has expired, as you are no longer entitled to software updates nor technical support.


VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT manually download and install a new version of Peranso after expiration of your Registration Key Validity period, as it will invalidate your Registration Key, and you will no longer be able to use Peranso. 


If you manually install a new Peranso version after expiration of your Registration Key Validity period, you will see following message box when launching Peranso. You will have to apply for a Registration Key renewal to start using Peranso again, or you will have to install an older version of Peranso, compatible with your Registration Key (license).




Important notes


  • Your Registration Key is valid only for the specific computer and operating system you are using. Your Registration Key contains information that is linked to the unique Hardware Fingerprint of your PC. It will not allow you to install and run Peranso on any other PC. 


  • If you want to run Peranso on more than one computer, you can purchase an additional Registration Key at a discounted rate. See the Peranso website for more information.


  • Do not manually change your PC's clock to a date in the past or future, prior to or after installing or running Peranso. This will make your Registration Key unusable, due to a built-in software protection mechanism.
